Atlanta, GA--  The Collective Renaissance Guild (CRG) in partnership with Ford Motor Company and Perennial Sports and Entertainment will hold its 3rd Annual Winter Ball on Saturday, December 4 at the Delta Air Heritage Museum in Atlanta, GA. Winter Ball 2010: Phoenix Rising, will honor Grammy-Award Winning Artist Toni Braxton for her community service with Autism Speaks and the American Heart Association and Martin Luther King III for his global humanitarian efforts and work as President of the King Center. Phoenix Rising is a tribute to Atlanta as well as the honorees who have all demonstrated resilience and an ability to thrive in challenging times.

Delta Airlines and Local Celebrities Come to Support Grady's Breast Cancer Research

Atlanta, GA--  Tuesday evening (11/16) at Delta's Airport Hangar #2, Grammy winning singer Estelle will perform for local celebrities and philanthropic Atlantans that are coming together to support Grady Health Foundation's Travel in Pink event. 

Travel in Pink, presented by Delta Air Lines, will take place at the Delta Air Transport Heritage Museum, Hangar 2 and feature a Delta airplane as the centerpiece. Grady and Delta are teaming up to raise both awareness and much needed funding for breast cancer research. The money raised will benefit Grady's Avon Foundation Comprehensive Breast Center.

3rd Annual SouthEast Regional High School Battle of the Bands is HERE!

Atlanta, GA--  Just In Time Music presents the Third Annual Southeast Regional High School Battle of the Bands in Atlanta, Georgia on November 7th  at the James Hallford Stadium, formally Memorial Stadium located at 3789 Memorial College Avenue; Clarkston, Georgia 30021; on the central campus of Georgia Perimeter College.  The gates open at 1:30PM and the Showcase begins at 3:00PM.

Hapeville Downtown Live Concerts FINALE TONIGHT w/ 'Chameleon' Performing

Atlanta, GA--  Downtown Hapeville comes alive Friday nights with live music and food vendors in the Jess Lucas Park.  Tonight Friday, October 15th, 7:00 to 11 p.m. is the year's season finale and will feature:

The Miss Georgia Pole Dance Fitness Competition comes to Hapeville Oct. 22nd

Atlanta, GA--  Pole Dance as a women's fitness tool has been gaining in popularity over the past couple of years and instructional studios can be found in almost every section of town.  All this popularity has now led to an Olympic style competition to crown the best fitness pole dancers.

Vertical Joe's, a studio in Hapeville, along with MC Healthcare are hosting  the Vertical Health and Fitness Expo and the Miss Georgia Pole Dance Fitness Competition from October 22nd-26th.  The purpose of this event according to MC Healthcare, is to encourage people to become more active so to reduce the risk of diabetes, obesity , and other major health problems.  In addition, MC Healthcare intends to collect 10,000 additional signatures in support of their petition to make pole dancing an official olympic sport.
