Christian City celebrates 50 years

UNION CITY, Ga. -- Christian City will celebrate its 50th anniversary next month.

The south Fulton County facility houses both seniors and children. Its famous Children's Village has cared for more than 1,000 abused, abandoned and neglected children over the years.

Christian City's 50th Anniversary Celebration will be Thursday, Feb. 26 at 6:30 p.m. at the Delta Flight Museum near Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.

Christian City president and CEO Bob Crutchfield said the evening will feature presentations, hors d'oeuvres, music and more.

"This is going to be a major event in the life of Christian City," Crutchfield said. "We'll reflect on our past and look towards our future as we celebrate 50 years of service to children and seniors."

Tickets to the event are $50 and can be purchased at christiancity.org.
