Atlanta Airport serves up live jazz all week in the atrium

Atlanta Airport --  (sent by the Atlanta Airport)  Put on a happy face and prepare to enjoy the 10th annual Jazz in the Atrium music series at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The two-week program features performances by renowned, mostly local artists from 5 to 7 p.m. each weeknight through May 27.

“We’re pleased to welcome back one of Hartsfield-Jackson’s most celebrated music series,” said Katherine Dirga, Airport Art Program manager. “Jazz in the Atrium reflects the energy, excitement and enthusiasm that travelers will experience throughout the city. This program is truly a must-hear event for travelers of all ages.”

Jazz in the Atrium is presented in conjunction with the 34th annual Atlanta Jazz Festival, which is organized by the City of Atlanta’s Office of Cultural Affairs. Hartsfield-Jackson’s music series provides a sampling of the sounds that music lovers will experience at venues throughout the city during the festival.

May 26: Charles Marshall, “The Jazz Ambassador”
